EVIDENCE OF TEACHING PREPAREDNESS

During the Summer 2017 semester, I had the opportunity to work with a group of 4th Graders at The Study Hall, Inc. Despite some intense trepidation and a fear of feeling like a "fish out of water" in an elementary school setting, I had a great time and learned a lot about effective teaching methods and the different stages of lesson plan development. You can read about my experience here!

Towards the end of Fall 2017, I spent 2 weeks with Ms. Kanisha Cooper's Physical Science Class at Cedar Grove Middle School. During my time with her class, I learned about techniques for classroom management as well as how to integrate technology in order to create an engaging, argument-driven inquiry-based classroom. As a Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellow, my work Cedar Grove High School is still ongoing. As such, I do not have a final structured reflection to present to you. However, I have included pictures from all three locations below. Enjoy!
